Job Description

Our client is looking for a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and supporting customers throughout the sales process. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position is centered on serving as a trusted resource for customers, dealers, and field sales teams by providing product guidance, application support, quotations, and order management assistance.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys helping customers find the right solution for their needs, can manage multiple priorities, and works effectively with cross-functional teams. This individual will serve as a key link between customers, sales, manufacturing, and operations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer, dealer, and field sales inquiries via phone and email
  • Provide product information and application-based recommendations
  • Develop and deliver customer quotations
  • Enter, review, and verify customer orders for accuracy
  • Track open orders, shipments, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and internal teams to support order fulfillment
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer questions and issue resolution
  • Support Territory Managers and field sales personnel with customer requests
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and follow-through
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, inside sales, account support, or a related role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Customer-first mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of forklifts, hydraulics, lift truck systems, or industrial equipment
  • Experience supporting dealer networks or field sales organizations
  • Bilingual Spanish (written and verbal) is a plus

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $60,000 - $71,000
  • Bonus Opportunity
  • Full-Time, On-Site Position
